Alfred Adler. The Science of Living is an eminently readable book, which serves as a pithy introduction to Adlerian psychology. It is here that Adler introduces his central concept of the life style, the unique method which each of us actively employees to create his or her own destiny. Adler goes on to show that individuals use their life style to strive for a goal, the motivating force of their existence. But we are inhibited, along the way, by inferiority feelings. These Adlerian notions, now familiar to us all, are set forth in The Science of Living.
