Clinical Care

We are about living, practicing and teaching the fundamental tenets of Adlerian Depth Psychotherapy. This station links you to our clinical affiliations, Family-Counselling Services and Jinger Hayes Counseling  (click on the logos). We hope you will enjoy exploring that site as well, to learn more about our clinical care. To us this includes:  a safe, confidential and non-judgmental context in which our clients can gain clarity and perspective on a range of issues they would like to explore. We help by offering the support needed to resolve issues and make decisions; we help deal with negative feelings and emotions, explore personal resources and develop new skills; focus on and resolve relationship problems; investigate work-related difficulties; confront addictive or compulsive behaviour; come to understand issues such as depression, anxiety or illness.

Erik, Jane, and Jinger have been certified as Classical Adlerian Depth Psychotherapists and Nathlie is currently in CADP studies. Each of us carry Stateside and/or Suisse licensure or certification. Our approach to counselling is informed by the growth perspective of Alfred Adler and his theory of human development. It is an approach that is encouraging, focuses on strengths, and empowers the person to take an active role in the decision-making process which stimulates change.

Jinger Hayes Counseling brought Adlerian Depth Psychotherapy stateside in 2020. Licensed in the state of Colorado, she welcomes clients there face-to-face, while continuing to work virtually with European clientele when feasible and appropriate.  In the uniquely egalitarian tradition of Adler, himself, Jinger's clients can expect honest exchange, a caring challenge of the status quo and an individualized approach that never precludes warmth or humor. Jinger's practice is fully anchored in Adler's comprehensive theory of human development and the pathway it provides to healing and growth.
